1. Who we are
Fortis Sports Trading operates Fortis Automation at www.fstautomation.com. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use the Service.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).
- Betfair connection data: encrypted Betfair access and refresh tokens, connection status, and account funds information retrieved from Betfair on your behalf when connected.
- Configuration and activity data: system settings, selections, bet history, audit logs, and operational records needed to run automation.
- Technical data: server logs, IP addresses, and diagnostic information used for security and reliability.
3. What we do not collect
Fortis Automation does not collect or store your Betfair username or password. Betfair authentication uses Vendor Web OAuth; only Betfair-issued tokens are stored, encrypted at rest.
4. How we use data
We use personal data to:
- provide and secure the Service;
- connect to Betfair and place or simulate bets according to your settings;
- maintain audit trails and support troubleshooting;
- comply with legal and regulatory obligations;
- communicate service-related notices.
5. Legal bases (UK GDPR)
We process data where necessary to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and where we have legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable service (balanced against your rights).
6. Sharing and processors
We use infrastructure and service providers (for example hosting, email, and database providers) that process data on our instructions. Betfair processes data when you authenticate and when API calls are made on your behalf. We do not sell your personal data.
7. Retention
We retain account and betting records while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes. Encrypted Betfair tokens are deleted when you disconnect Betfair or when authentication fails and tokens are cleared.
8. Security
We use technical measures including encryption for Betfair tokens, access controls, and secure communication over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Contact us to exercise these rights.
