1. About Fortis Automation
Fortis Automation ("the Service") is cloud-based software operated by Fortis Sports Trading that helps users configure and automate bet placement on the Betfair Exchange. Fortis Automation is execution software only. It does not provide betting tips, financial advice, or guarantees of profit.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to gamble in your jurisdiction. You must maintain your own valid Betfair account and comply with Betfair's terms and applicable laws.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your Fortis Automation login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Betfair connection
To use live betting features you must connect your Betfair account using Betfair Vendor Web OAuth. Fortis Automation does not collect or store your Betfair username or password. Encrypted Betfair-issued tokens are stored solely to operate the Service on your behalf until you disconnect.
5. Automation and your responsibility
You configure selections, staking, conditions, and operating mode (including simulation and live modes). You are solely responsible for your configuration and for bets placed through the Service. Fortis Automation executes according to your settings; it does not determine whether a bet is appropriate for you.
6. Fees and third-party charges
Betfair Exchange commission and other Betfair charges apply to your betting activity and are payable to Betfair under your Betfair account terms. Any future Fortis Automation subscription or service fees will be communicated separately before they apply.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, attempt to bypass security controls, reverse engineer the platform except where permitted by law, or use the Service in any way that violates Betfair API rules or applicable regulation.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages (including Betfair API availability), and events outside our reasonable control may affect operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fortis Sports Trading shall not be liable for betting losses, missed bets, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
