System
Core system settings : mode, bank, profits, and activating or stopping betting.
The System tab controls whether this configuration runs in simulation or real money, your starting bank, and the kill switch that starts or stops automated betting.

Mode
- Simulation: Paper trading. Bets are recorded internally without placing on Betfair (unless live is enabled server-side).
- Real money: Live mode. Requires Betfair connected and server allowlist for live placement.
Bank and profits
- Bank: Starting bank for staking calculations. Save after changing.
- Day / total profit: Day profit is P&L from today's settled bets (UK time). Total profit is P&L since the current betting cycle began. Both reset when a new cycle starts.

Activate / stop betting
Use the kill switch in the workspace header to start or stop the bot for this system. Setup checklist items must be complete before activation.
Stopping betting does not disconnect Betfair. Use Betfair → Disconnect to end the Exchange session.
